The Lotus-Moving Through Menopause
Lead by Shannon Schwartz, registered dietitian/yoga instructor/reiki master

Lead
Whether you’re approaching perimenopause, in the thick of it, or years beyond, this three-month program is for you. Together, we’ll explore menopause through the interconnected lenses of body, mind, and spirit—reclaiming your vitality and embracing this transition with strength, clarity, and grace.

Each session is a space for learning, reflection, and shared experience. You’ll join a supportive community of women walking the same path, each honoring their own story while growing together.

1st month- Body
Dates: 1/10, 1/14, 1/24, 1/31 (11-1:30pm)
During this stage of life, it’s common to experience symptoms like weight gain, hair loss, insomnia, and hot flashes. The good news is that the right nutrition and movement can help manage—and even reduce—many of these symptoms.
In this program, you’ll receive practical, evidence-based guidance on how to nourish your body and support your changing needs --“no more fad diets”. You’ll learn how to design a sustainable daily eating plan that truly works for you.

We’ll also dive into supplements—covering what’s essential, what’s optional, and how to choose wisely based on your individual needs. Additionally, we’ll explore how exercise can help reduce symptoms and boost energy. You’ll practice tailored workouts designed to meet you where you are, helping you build strength, balance, and confidence every step of the way.

2nd month-Mind
Dates: 2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/28 (11-1:30pm)
Hormonal changes ripple through the nervous system, reshaping how the body and mind respond to the world. At the same time, many of us are juggling full lives—working, caring for loved ones, navigating loss, and managing countless daily demands.

In this program, we’ll look at how menopause affects the nervous system and the brain, and how awareness and practice can help restore balance. You’ll learn tools to calm, focus, and re-energize your mind—through breathwork, gentle yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. These practices will help you meet this transition with steadiness, clarity, and self-compassion.

3rd month-Spirit
Dates: 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, 3/28 (11-1:30pm)
Change can open us—helping us see ourselves and the world in new ways and awaken a deeper desire for connection and meaning. Across cultures, menopause is honored differently, each perspective shaping how women experience this powerful life stage. Together, we’ll explore what this transition means for you—who you are becoming, and how you want to show up in the next chapter of your life.

Each week, you’ll receive a new practice or tool to spark reflection and strengthen your inner connection. We’ll also explore intuition and how to work with your spirit guides, helping you trust your inner wisdom and align with the energy that moves through you.

About Shannon...

Nearly 21 years ago, I was diagnosed with postpartum depression while pregnant with my first son. During that time, I sought therapy and tried different medications, all while working as a bartender and server. Eventually, I made the decision to go back to school—not only to build a new career, but also to begin healing from my own mental and emotional struggles.
I’d always been interested in nutrition and dietetics and knew I wanted to serve the people in my community. After a five-year educational journey, I became a registered dietitian. Working in this field taught me that it’s nearly impossible to talk about someone’s diet without also considering the deeper factors that shape their behaviors and lifestyle choices. To truly help others, I needed to look beyond food—I needed to understand the whole person.
Around that time, my own habits began to shift. I started exercising regularly and developed a daily yoga/meditation practice. As my spirituality grew, so did my mental wellbeing. Training as a yoga teacher and Reiki master felt like a natural next step—one that allowed me to better support my clients and myself. Today, I continue to use yoga/meditation, Reiki, and other wellness tools to stay grounded and connected. These practices have transformed my life in ways I never imagined, and I’m passionate about sharing them with others.
My intention for my clients' is to serve in a way that allows me to live out my true purpose—to hold space where each client feels seen, heard, and supported on their own journey toward healing and wholeness.
Namaste.
