Shannon Schwartz, Owner/Director (yoga/meditation instructor, reiki masters of masters, registered dietitian)

Nearly 21 years ago, Shannon was diagnosed with postpartum depression while pregnant with her first son. During that time, she sought therapy and tried different medications, all while working as a bartender and server. Eventually, she made the decision to go back to school—not only to build a new career, but also to begin healing from my own mental and emotional struggles.

Shannon has always been interested in nutrition and dietetics and knew she wanted to serve the people in her community. After a five-year educational journey, she became a registered dietitian. Working in this field taught her that it’s nearly impossible to talk about someone’s diet without also considering the deeper factors that shape their behaviors and lifestyle choices. To truly help others, she needed to look beyond food—she needed to understand the whole person.

Around that time, her own habits began to shift. She started exercising regularly and developed a daily yoga/meditation practice. As her spirituality grew, so did my mental wellbeing. Training as a yoga teacher and Reiki master felt like a natural next step—one that allowed her to better support clients and herself. Today, she continue to use yoga/meditation, Reiki, and other wellness tools to stay grounded and connected. These practices have transformed her life in ways she never imagined, and is passionate about sharing them with others.

Shannon's intention for clients' is to serve in a way that allows her to live out her true purpose—to hold space where each client feels seen, heard, and supported on their own journey toward healing and wholeness.

Namaste.

Cheryl Dally, Yoga Teacher
Cheryl found Tribe Yoga a month after it first opened in January of 2017.  Recovering from neck surgery, she was looking to increase her range of motion and strengthen her neck muscles.  She embraced yoga to keep her spine healthy, help her relieve stress and learn to relax.
Cheryl completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program in September 2020 at Tribe Yoga.  She is certified in an Ashtanga-based program with additional training in Yin Yoga.  Her practice style is an Ashtanga-themed flow.   When Cheryl isn’t working or practicing yoga, you will find her golfing, gardening or babysitting her grandchildren.

Amy Dawson, yoga teacher, meditation guide, reiki practitioner, spiritual seeker
Amy is a passionate teacher of yoga, meditation, and Reiki who blends movement, mindfulness, and energy work into soulful, heart-centered offerings. Her classes are known for their balance of gentle strength and deep grounding, with a touch of spirituality and just the right amount of “woo.”

Rooted in the belief that healing and transformation begin within, Amy creates safe, sacred spaces where students can reconnect to themselves—body, mind, and spirit. Whether through intentional breathwork, chakra balancing, or quiet moments of stillness, she invites students to slow down, listen inward, and move with purpose.

With a deep love for ritual, music, and energy work, Amy weaves together ancient wisdom with modern practice to support personal growth and energetic alignment. Expect intuitive guidance, soulful playlists, and plenty of moments that remind you to exhale and come back to yourself.

Karen Parker, Yoga Teacher, reiki master
Karen found yoga about ten years ago after an illness prompted a much-needed search for wellness. A consistent yoga practice became the cure for a stressful lifestyle. The movement and stillness were equally attractive.

She completed a 200-hour YTT in March 2020 after retiring from academic teaching. Her training up to this point also includes certifications in yin and kundalini, and master-level reiki attunement.

Her teaching style can be described as modern vinyasa- integrating elements of various yoga styles with somatics, Pilates, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ). A focus on alignment-based movement fosters strength, flexibility, and subtle-body awareness. Karen loves making yoga accessible and believes that any improvement we make in our inner world resonates out to improve the world at large.
